Baby blues

February 5, 2011 12:54am

I know the feeling. You are expecting your first child and don’t have much money. You’re work prospects are dwindling and you desperately need to go out and buy cots, nappies and other such things. Do not fret. There is always a way and that way is in the form of same day loans online . These loans can be as short or as long term as you want and could be just what you are looking for right now. You are in control of exactly how much you borrow down to the penny and you then keep it for however long as you can and pay it back when you are ready. Don’t go without. Image: teleg

Dunhill Moonphase

September 25, 2010 6:15pm

Whilst not being one to get sucked into extravagant purchase, this formal watch from Dunhill has definitely caught my eye of late.
With a stainless steel and PVD casing, Dunhill’s Moonphase watch is made to last and manages to keep an air or masculinity to it whilst being the perfect accompaniment to a suit or tuxedo. The watches real killer app though is that it would look just as good if worn with casual attire as well as formal wear. Plus, look at it. It’s like something from the future.
Now if only I can convince my wife to let me dip into the childrens savings to match the £4grand price tag. Damn.

MY NEW HOBBY

September 25, 2010 6:15pm

I recently bought a used bicycle, (see picture below!) as I wanted to try a new hobby.
At the weekend I put all my new gear on, including my new helmet and went riding with my partner. We decided to ride around some of the parks in central London. We went past Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and The London Eye. The weather was also good so it turned out to be a fun day.
It is nice to see a lot of London without having to push passed loads of tourist all milling around. We stopped for lunch in a nice café near Hyde Park and also stopped along Embankment (as you are not allowed to ride along there) to just take in the view.
I am not the most confident rider, so will not be commuting on my bike in the mornings to work, but it is nice to use it as a way to relax and take in the sights. It is not always something that just gets you from A to B!

Ford goes all Batman

September 25, 2010 6:15pm

With the recent trend of souped of super cars sporting Matte finish paint jobs it was only a matter of time before a more commercial brand began offering the finish.
Welcome the new limited edition Ford Focus RS500, available in colour only, Matte Black. Making the car look like a menacing jar dropping crime fighter of a vehicle. Realistically I would imagine that this finish is quite difficult to preserve and keep up, it will obviously mark easily and buffing any marks out will surely ruin the dull effect but, all practicalities aside, this is one cool looking car that the caped crusader himself would be proud of.
